What is lacking in the current scenario? - Physical interaction is not possible- Proper Categorization of Products

Various Ads/Deals Posted on a notice board

- Currently, a seller must post items across various notice boards.

- Notices are posted in a haphazard manner

- May or may not be noticed

- A buyer cannot scour the entire campus looking for his/her product

- Even if a notice is found, no guarantee if the deal is valid

- A buyer has to trust artifacts uploaded by the seller

- Product may not be as fancy as it seems

- E.g. : Phone battery bought through e-bay.

- Simple : Use the Internet !

- Seller can conveniently upload at any time

- Buyer can search for deals, again at any time

- Provide Categorization, Extensive search feature, ability to subscribe for email / SMS alerts, participate in discussion forums !

- Market restricted to Clemson Community.

- Make physical interaction possible and thus buyer can actually see the product before buying!
