Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival celebrating beer, hold annually in Bavaria, Germany.

From late September to the first weekend in October.

It is one of the most famous events in Germany, and world’s largest fair, with more than 6 million people.

It is also an important part of the Bavarian cuture because originally it was just a big wedding, where Prinz Ludwig married Prinzessin Therese.

The place where is celebrated, were the place where people watched horse races and such things in that time, and then it became a tradition.

This area is named the “Theresienwiese”, near Munich’s center.

In Oktoberfest people drink a lot of beer but it must be brewed within the city limits and only can be server beer that is conforming to the “Reinheitsgebot” translated into English: “purity order”which says that the only ingredients that could be used in the production of beer were water, barley and hops.

People can also enjoy a wide variety of traditional food
