Directions Pages 3-18: Pennants
Page 19: Optional student answer sheet
Page 20: Answer key
Nuts and Bolts: ⤿ Print pages 3-18 (and page 19 if you’d like).
⤿ Give a set of pages to each of your student groups.
⤿ Also give them scissors and a stapler, tape or a glue stick.
OPTIONAL: colored pencils or markers.
The Activity: • Students complete the problems on each pennant.
• When a pennant if complete and correct, the student can
add it to your string of completed pennants. • Students can also color their pennants first
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The • symbol is used to show multiplication in some
problems. If you use x with your students, you may want to
pre-teach this symbol.
PRINTING: If you have trouble printing, choose "Fit" and uncheck the
box next to "Choose paper source by PDF page size”. This should do
the trick. If not, please email me at scaffoldedmath@gmail.com.
