•Age Limit : Gen. – 21- 30 Yrs ; SC/ST – 35 Yrs ; OBC – 33 Yrs

•Attempts:Gen. – 4 attempts ; SC / STs – No Restriction of attempts; OBCs – 7 attempts

Prelims : Objective type questions : 2 papers

1. General Study – 200 Marks/ 100 Questions

2. CSAT – 200 Marks/ 80 Questions

Covers the following Areas: Comprehension

Interpersonal skills including communication skills; Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision-making and problem solving General mental ability.

Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of

magnitude, etc. Class X level), English language comprehension skills (Class X level).

Stage II : Main Exams •Paper I - 300 marks (3 Hrs)- EssayMarks scored in the above papers don’t affect the ranking ; But only those who fulfills minimum standard in paper I and II will be qualified for the other papers

•Paper II- 250 marks(3 Hrs) General Studies-I Indian heritage and culture, history and geography of the world and society

•Paper III- 250 marks(3 Hrs) General Studies-II Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations

•Paper IV-250 marks(3 Hrs)General Studies-III Technology, Economic Development, Bio diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management

•Paper V-250 marks(3Hrs) General Studies-IVThis paper will include questions to test the candidates’ attitude and approach to issues relating to integrity, probity in public life and this problem solving approach to various issues and conflicts faced by him in dealing with society. Questions may utilize the case study approach to determine these aspects. The following broad areas will be covered.
