Fuji Blossoms

Fuji Blossoms

This photo was captured by ‘Yuga Kurita’ at Mount Fuji in Japan. This photo shows Mount Fuji appearing through the clouds in the early hours of the morning. This is a long shot, landscape photograph of Mount Fuji creates a Peaceful atmosphere. Focusing on the pink cherry blossom shows its taken in a quiet spring morning.I really like this photo as it’s a very gracious and relaxing. This photograph makes me want to be there. By Mount Fuji being out of focus in the background, it truly makes you feel like you’re in the photograph.

Strangers To Reason

Strangers To Reason

The photo I have chosen is a photo of a woman and two workers at a psychiatric hospital. Its clear the two workers are trying to control this lady as she is struggling to get away. This photo is very powerful as you don’t know who she is, why she is struggling and where they are going. This is a photojournalism long shot taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt. I think that this photograph is very interesting, I like the mystery and unanswered questions behind this photograph.

Times Square

Times Square

This is a photograph of the Times Square was taken by Michael Yamashita, he uses a very unusual technique called motion and dimension. He created this blur type effect as he zooms in or out with your zoom lens whilst taking a shot. This is a long shot abstract that creates the feeling of movement. I chose this photo as its very unusual and different. Its almost like an optical illusion.

Giraffes at Sunset

Giraffes at Sunset

This photograph really caught my attention as the black silhouette contrasting with the bright orange is really striking. I love the African Jungle mood its giving. This was taken in Masai Mara Park in Kenya by Randy Crossley. This is a long shot landscape photograph. In my opinion this photo is very eye catching and exotic.

Cowboy and Cars

Cowboy and Cars

This photograph was taken by Annie Griffiths in Badlands. She used long-exposure photography to capture the red and white lights of the car. I really like this technique and would love to try it myself. This is a long shot landscape photograph of a car passing a man on a horse. I find the fact you cant see the actual car very intriguing, I find this photo very rural and inviting.
