Tourist : I thought the tower was called ‘Big Ben’.

Tour Guide: Well actually, the biggest bell, which weighs 13 tons, is called Big Ben. It was named after Sir Benjamin Hall, who was the commissioner for works when it was put in.

Tourist : When was the tower built?

Tour Guide : Well, building was started in 1858 and completed in 1859.
