Present Simple is used:

• 1)To denote repeated actions.• 2)To denote actions or state characterizing a person• 3)To denote universal truths• 4)To denote a future actions

• Present Continuous is used:

• 1)To denote an action or a state going on at the moment of speaking

• 2)To denote a future action with such actional verbs as “to go”,”to come”,”to leave”

• 3)To denote an action going on as a continual process

Affirmative,Interrogative,Negative Forms :

• 1)The Present Simple Form in the affirmative is built up from the infinitive without “to”.Only in the 3rd person singular the ending –s is added to the end of the verb.

• 2)We use the auxiliary verb “Do/Does” in the Present Simple.

• 3)In the negative form we use “Don’t/Does’nt”

1)The affirmative form of The Present Continuous Form is made with the verb “To be”.

2)The interrogative form of the Present Continuos is formed by placing the personal forms of the verb “To be” before the subject.

3)The negative is constructed by adding the negative particle “not” after the personal forms of the auxilary verb “To be”
