WHAT A RESTAURANT IS?A Restaurant is a fixed establishment which offers Food & Beverages services. All restaurants are created on base of the menu that they will offer, the type of clients (target market) and the thematic.

CAFETERIA

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• They have tables with containers

• The people can order to how their own food will be prepared

• They are mostly found in schools, universities, hotels and enterprises

• The users are often students and workers

• Usually there are many tables and chairs to use

• There aren't rules of which table we must or with who we can sit to eat

TYPE OF FOOD SERVED

• Cooked food

• Cold food

• Salads

• Simple meals

• Sandwiches

• Beverages

• Juices

PATRON TREATMENT

• No waiters

• Tables with food to choise or a menu

• They have attenders and give the clients a service for charge or serve the food

• The janitor is cleaning all the dirty that the previous clients left

Having many types of restaurants is good because it can allow the clients to have different options to choise and also the competitiveness between the restaurants depends only in the kind of food served, the prices and the services that are offered. So, having types of restaurants such as these allow the people to create differents concepts of F&B establishments and the clients to taste new things.
