Draw the map of Haiti.
Late in the afternoon, the
plane lands at the
international airport of
Haiti. A beautiful sunset
welcomes Anabelle.
She wakes up early in the
morning. She can not wait to
go hiking with her dad.
Haiti is the land of mountains.
It is surrounded by long chains
of mountains. Have you ever seen mountains before ? Where?
Mountains: Landmass that
is higher than a hill.
If you were Anabelle, how would you climb the mountains of Haiti? Use pantomine to illustrate how you would climb the mountains.
Draw a mountain.
Once Anabelle arrived at
the top of the mountain,
she is exhausted. She rests
under a tree. Suddenly, she
screams: “Wow, what a
view!.” From the mountain,
she can admire the plains.

lake. She is excited when
she sees the blue water.
“This is not the sea,” her

day?
Anabelle is so happy to discover
some physical features of Haiti
such as the mountains, the
plains,the river, and the lake.
Now she can not wait to go
back to Orlando to talk about
her trip with her classmates.
Have you visited in foreign country or another state? Describe its physical features with your classmates?
