What is Self-Care?

Why is Self-Care Important?

Reminder to you and those closest to you that your needs are important

Daily self-care leads to a healthier you

Sends a message to you and your body that it is valued

Exercise

Cardio exercise, weightlifting, Pilates, swimming, etc.

Nutrition

Providing your body with healthy, nutritious wholesome foods (avoiding processed foods)

Sleep

Getting 7-8 hours of restful sleep

Seeing a doctor when necessary
