its literal meaning stands for the type of learning carried out, facilitated or supported by some or the other gadgets, media or resources .

Eg: tele conferencing, email, online reference libraries , surfing on the internet…..etc

Synchronous communication style: communication occurs directly in an online chat rooms or through live audio-video conferencing.
