What will we do:

We will take the trail from the

valley floor up to the lower falls the

middle cascades and up to the

upper falls. There we will overlook a

viewpoint showing the upper falls

of Yosemite National Park.

You can find: Giant Sequoias Dogwood trees Cedar and wildflowers

The Mariposa lily and the shooting

star

You can find: Bald eagles Hawks Elk Moose Mountain lions and bighorn sheep

In Yosemite creek you can find: River catfish Alligator gar and spring peppers (tiny frog)

Our transportation to Yosemite Falls: We will walk on a trail from the entrance to get to Yosemite Falls.

Elevation: 3,000 ft

What we will do: We will

take the trail from the valley

next to Yosemite Falls

making our way westwards.

(El Capitan is a favorite

challenge for rock climbers)

What we will do: We will

head up to Half dome possibly

the parks highest rock formation

and the most familiar

Our transportation to Half Dome:We will walk westwards in the vally for 15

to 20 minutes until we get to Half Dome.

Elevation: 1,200

What we will do: We will head

into the Mariposa Grove

to see the giant Sequoia trees

( Mariposa means Butterfly in

Spanish, millions of butterflies

migrate to Calafornia to survive

the winter, the Sequoia trees

are literaly covered in monach

butterflies.)

Our transportation to the Mariposa Grove:We will bycicle to the Mariposa grove in

the forest.
