INTRODUCTION

Three Axis Modern Trailer is one of the Lifting system in automobile at the time of emergency. Here the additional pneumatic cylinder and Control Valve is provided in the automobile itself. In this project, the Control Valve is used to activate/deactivate the Air input. The Valve is “ON” at the time of emergency; the compressed air goes to the pneumatic cylinder. Then the compressed air passes through the tube, and then pushes the pneumatic cylinder, so that the Lifting is applied at the time of Valve in “ON” position.

PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS

Pneumatic cylinder (sometimes known as air cylinders) are mechanical devices which use the power of compressed gas to produce a force in a reciprocating linear motion.

SPECIFICATION

DIRECTION CONTROL VALVE ALLOW FLUID FLOW INTO DIFFERENT PATHS FROM ONE OR MORE SOURCES.

VEHICLE MODEL FRAME

A VEHICLE FRAME IS THE MAIN SUPPORTING STRUCTURE OF MOTOR VEHICLE TO WHICH ALL OTHER COMPONENTS ARE ATTACHED.

WORKING

THE CONTROL VALVE IS FIXED IN NEAR OF THE DRIVING PERSONS IN THE FOUR WHEELER.

AIR TANK CONTAINS THE COMPRESSED AIR IS ALREADY FILLED.

THE VALVE WAS “ON” AT THE TIME OF EMERGENCY,THE CONTROL VALVE WAS ACTIVETED.

THE COMPRESSED AIR FLOW IS CONTROLLED BY CONTROL VALVE.

THEN THE COMPRESSED AIR GOES TO PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS.

THE PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS PISTON MOVES FORWARD AT THE TIME OF COMPRESSED AIR INLET TO THE CYLINDER.

THE PNEUMATIC CYLINDER MOVES TOWARDS THE LIFTING ARRANGEMENT.

ADVANTAGES

LIFTING COST WILL BE LESS.LESS POWER CONSUMPTION.FREE FROM WEAR ADJUSTMENT.LESS SKILL TECHNICIANS IS

SUFFICIENT TO OPERATE.

DISADVANTAGES

NEED SEPARATE AIR TANK.EFFICIENCY IS LOW.

APPLICATIONSFOUR WHEELER APPLICATION. IT IS ALSO IMPLEMENTED IN CRANE.ALL HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC

DIPPER APPLICATIONS.

CONCLUSION

We have been able to increase the easiness in unloading trolley.

Problems occurred at the time of unloading the trolley in critical areas are eliminated.

Reducing overall time and fuel required for unloading the trailer.

FUTURE SCOPE

BECAUSE OF LESS COST AND EASY TO OPERATE IT WILL GIVE CONTINUOUS WORK AND IT WILL SAVE TIME.

THIS IMPLEMENTATION WILL INCREASE THE TROLLEY LIFTING ANGLE UP TO 45 TO 50°.
