Shot types

• Scene 1as this will be our opening shot of the house, where our video is initially set, we will use an establishing shot. This tells the audience that the upcoming scenes will take place here. This shot is also used to establish our characters moods, with our happy male character on the balcony that has sunshine on it, and our sad female on the side that has rain on it. the use of this shot helps set the tone of our entire music video.

• Scene 2• This scene takes place inside of the house. Mid shots

are used on the 2 characters as they walk towards each other and meet at the middle of the house. A close up is put on the couples hands as they meet and form a love heart. As they exit the house together, we use an extreme long shot to show they are both leaving. After this we use a long shot to show the narrator who is sitting on the roof of the house, before zooming into the sun via an extreme close up. This then transitions us to the next scene, the hill.

• Scene 3• the majority of this scene is an extreme long

shot of the hill, with our male (sunshine) on the left of the hill, and our female (raincloud), on the right. Once he has walked over the hill to her, we have a close up of him helping her by giving her his hand.

• Scene 4• This scene is also an extreme long shot, with the

previous scene being used as a background. The only other shot that we use in this scene is a close up of sunshines face.

• Scene 5• This final scene, we used a wide shot for almost the

entire scene. The only time we change this is when we cut to a worms eye shot from a hole in the ground that sunshine drops a seed into.
