The King and Queen and Daughter Once upon a time there was a king and queen. They
had a beautiful daughter, but was very unhappy.
Daughter never laughed or smiled.King: I will award the person who can make
her happy.
A musical came and play the drums, a fairy said a magic spell, and a joker came and made jokes but she still did not smile or laugh
A young soldier came to work at the King's House. He came with his little cat. The cat liked to play.
One day the daughter saw the cat and started to smile- then she laughed.
The King and Queen heard their daughter laugh and saw the cat.
The young soldier got a bag full of gold and became a knight in the royal army.
