Yeah that’s right you get to pick Shep’s gender and

appearance! Which isn’t that uncommon an option in video

games, but Shep isn’t some silent protagonist or a character

with predetermined lines! You can choose what shep says

and that affects the story! Like it could determine someone

else’s actions, or whether a crucial character lives or dies!

Renegade and Paragon are the “bad” and “good” sides of shep,

and favoring one side will open up extra dialogue options!

SO MASS EFFECT IS IN SPACE,

The aliens are super rad my god so first we have…

The asari !!!!

THE ASARI

The asari are a super rad race of only ladies that are the

leaders of the galaxy (Tumblr you should love this…I know I

do!) They’re really smart and good at combat, since they

have psychic powers (called biotics – really important in this

game). They live a loooonng time (1000 years!). They come in

blue and purple and like to wear badass face paint.

NEXT ARE THE

TURIANS

Turians are pretty cool. They look like dinosaur – lion – bird

things, and they’re good at military junk. They were the first

aliens humans came in contact with. Unfortunately, you don’t

see any lady turians until the final game. :( They also like

facepaint

THEN THERE’S

SALARIANS

They look like salamaders and they like science. They have

short lifespans (40 years). They look weak but they can still

fight! They’re on the council along with the asari and turians.

KROGANNNNNNS

Krogans like to fight! They live a long time (1000 years) but it’s

hard for them to have babies. They like to headbutt too. They look

like frogs. Krogan ladies are tough and smart and awesome.

Lady

QUARIANS

Quarians are super smart and like to tinker! They live in a

travelling flotilla of space ships because they lost their home to

their own robots. They have to live in special suits because they

have weak immune systems. They are super cute :)

The game also has many poc and and the pilot is disabled-so that’s pretty neat including everyone. There’s also lots of tough ladies! And people of different sexual orientations!! Super cool I know. Also shep can romance people (if you want) so shippingggg

IN CONCLUSION…

This game is great and amazing if you like space or awesome characters or an engaging story or if you are a living person. I would play all three if I were you and wow they sell them in bundles now wow amazing!

You can play it on the xbox 360, ps3 or on the pc too so no excuses go buy it!

(Also people say the ending of the series sucks but it’s not that bad and it doesn’t take away from the rest of the experience at all)

Like this game series is the best ever changed my life i swear

*But all 3 games are very different from each other in their approach so you may like one more than the others (some people think the first one is more boring, so you can skip it if you want)
