The Door is a small Albanian NGO and some of our Inclusion Project are:

Project Aim

To reduce the stigma and increase social inclusion of the disable youth by using the art of music.

History

Who did what? Kiwanis from Norway, The Door NGO and Special School in Shkoder, north part of Albania.

The Problem, situation of the former pupils from the 3 December special school year 2004- 2005. They facing social exclusion.

22 Younger with mental disorder12 Males & 10 Females (18 – 27 age old)

Mentality toward people with mental health started to change. Disables People are more welcome in societyIncrease social inclusion to community social culture life.

• We are part of BICO, project application (Budding Irregular Cultural Operators), this in cooperation with Italy, Ireland, Poland and Portugal. (CREATIVE EU)

• We are looking for partners, initiatives under Erasmus plus program. Looking for future partners.
