– Expected stand down time – 00.30 – 12 fights mixed skill level: kids, amateurs, semi pro &

professionals.

• Crowd licensed for 2000 patrons– Seated and standing

• Alcohol lisence approved from City council

Healthcare Professionals – Doctor– Nurse– Advanced

Paramedic– Paramedic

Volunteers • Emergency Medical

Technicians• Emergency First

Responders• Cardiac First Responders• First Aiders• Basic Life Support

•Ambulance Cover–Number of ambulances

Advanced Life Support VS Basic Life Support

• Officer-in-charge VS Highest Clinical Level

Position people where & with what equipment?

•Expected Injuries–Fighters –Spectators

• Communications–Security –Medical team–Event co-ordinator –Doctor –HSE Ambulance Service

• Hazards–Medical crew, fighters, audience

• Hospital Transport– Clinical cover behind– Lights and Sirens? – Re-evaluate skill mix and teams

• Sterile Route for the ambulance? – How is this to be maintained

• Main receiving hospital –When to make contact

• Should there be a logistical and operational briefing ?

• Previous experience of the duty–Data from similar events–

• Escalation contingencies ?–No ambulance left–Medical supplies –Number of patients–Major emergency–Public Health threat

•Major Incident or Emergency–ETHANE message– Triage –Additional resources

• Stand down– Crowds leaving
