To me it suggests shared accountability. Getting patients interested in being proactive about their health rather than just wondering what I as a doctor can do for them.

We work hard on the patient experience. We try to involve patients in guiding their health and working as a team to treat their conditions?

Involving patient in treatment decisions, engaging them in plans.

Family centered rounds, having families participate in advisory councils.

We have monthly sessions with doctors and patients.
