49.7 percent of all seniors over the age of 65. Arthritis causes pain and discourages the seniors from being active.

among seniors over 65 years old. As people get older the number of risks gets higher like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and

these risks increase the chances of stroke and heart diseases.

chronic bronchitis.

5. Alzheimer’s Disease Alzheimer’s disease is common among the people over 65 of age.

CDC reports that 1 in a 10 people have this disease and most of them are 65 or older. Experts suggest that Alzheimer's has a significant

effect on senior health as security, safety, and self-care become the matter of concern.

6. Osteoporosis Osteoporosis can make anyone less mobile or potentially disabled if

there is any case of fracture or vertebral body collapse. According to National Osteoporosis Foundation, it is estimated that 54 million

Americans over age 50 are affected by osteoporosis. A small fracture could put these affected people in high risk and could be a reason for

poor health and less quality living.

7. DiabetesNot much of introduction needed for this disease as it is a

significant health problem for the older as well as the younger generation. Latest data suggest that approximately 25 percent of

Americans aged 65 or older are affected by diabetes. Diabetes can be diagnosed easily and the sooner you know the better it is.
