Perto de 400 pessoas passaram pela Conferência Nacional Investimento e Empreendedorismo, promovida pela ANJE, no passado dia 27 de junho, na Fundação de Serralves. Empenhada na construção do Portugal de Futuro, a iniciativa centrou-se sobretudo na questão do financiamento no período pós-troika. Tomaram a palavra 22 oradores ligados à banca, ao venture capital, ao capital de risco, aos business angels, bem como ao meio político, empresarial, académico e associativo. O capital de risco mereceu também o olhar crítico dos jovens empresários, com uma discussão em torno de um possível gap entre o investimento nacional nesta área e a efetiva aposta do capital de risco nas empresas, durante o segundo painel intitulado “Capital de Risco: realidade ou utupia?". José Mendes, vice-reitor da Universidade do Minho, foi o primeiro a intervir denunciando a utilidade alargada desta solução de financiamento, uma vez que os business angels não se limitam a injetar dinheiro nas empresas, fornecendo know-how e orientação estratégica para alcançar bons resultados.
