From Strangers to Best Buds

Dogs can be strangers to each other just like people can be strangers to each other.

Meet Zephyr and Sabre!

A few weeks ago, these two had no idea about

each other…Both were brought to a local

California shelter, terrified, and shaking in fear for their lives

Doggone Happy Animal Rescue in Delaware heard of these two and

came to their rescue!

With their new rescue

being across the country, they did

not know if it was

possible

While waiting for their transport with Rescue Transport USA, Zephyr and Sabre were placed into boarding

Almost two months

later, they were finally

on their way!

One of our very own Doobert drivers contacted Rescue Transport USA…

She said she was planning a trip across the country, and would take Zephyr and Sabre with

her!

With the road trip planned, they headed out on their 2,729 mile

journey

Over four days, nights in hotels and getting spoiled rotten, they made it to

their new rescue in Delaware!

From not knowing each

other before this transport, Zephyr and Sabre have

become best buds with a whole team behind them
