Weekend BazaarProposal for Fisher Mall

Bazaar BackgroundThe Urban Arts & Craft Fair will run every weekend starting the month of September until December.

September: Arts & Craft Bazaar for the Benefit of Aislinn WishOctober: Arts & Craft Bazaar for the Benefit of Aislinn WishNovember: Gastronomic Delights (Food Vendors) December: Lifestyle Bazaar (arts & craft, retailers, food vendors)

Time: 10 am – 10 pm

Venue: Fishermall

Objective• To be able to position Fisher Mall as a supporter of handmade

products and local entrepreneurs, artists and crafters.

• To be able to promote Fisher Mall as a suitable venue for weekend fairs and art-related markets that attracts Filipino families to visit during weekends.

• To attract and gather more foot traffic to Fisher Mall specially on weekends.

• To increase market reach to those living outside of Quezon City area by way of bazaar promotion via social media outlets.

ConceptThe Urban Arts & Crafts Fair is a curated indie arts and craft marketplace event showcasing the handmade work and wares of independent makers, artists and designers and individual owners who have similar products.

Vendors appearing in the fair come from a DIY-culture. All crafters, artists and individuals who wish to become a merchant of Urban will also donate a percentage of their earnings to GRANT A WISH. SAVE A LIFE for Aislinn Wish Liver transplant.

There will also be a “Crafter’s Corner” for kids wherein they can sit down and create loom bands, which they can take home. There will also be other crafting workshops open to the public on a weekend schedule every month.

ThemeThe Urban Arts & Crafts Fair will take on the following themes:• Vintage + Crafting• Art Expressions• Fun, Playful• Kids Environment• Amusement/Fair

Event Area SetupThe venue area will be decorated with colorful:

• Handmade Buntings• Artful lights by Light’emup Co.

Booth SetupEach booth setup is composed of a raw 2x2m. space wherein merchants will bring in their own modules and materials. Each merchant should dress up their own space with any of the above mentioned “treatments”.

A table cloth plus 2 chairs will be provided for each merchant. Light provisions like sockets will be set up as well.

Anything goes as long as each merchant doesn’t go beyond the space provided.

Crafter’s CornerFun activities for Kids and Parents during the bazaar.

New crafting activities every week• Loom Band Making• Face Painting• Teddy Making• Felt Projects• Plushy doll making

Crafter’s Corner – Month 1Kids ages 8 onwards can enjoy crafting activities with their parents or other kids during the fair.

Each kid will just pay P50 to createhis/her own loom band which she cantake home.

The crafters corner charges P50for each loom band sessionthat will cover material expensesand part of it goes to Aislinn’s Wishas donation.

Participants must bring their own loom band board or can rent one at the corner for an additional P20
