Dye test--sample taken from cannon ball flower (Cauroupita guianensis)

DYe test

• One puff was taken from each of the test tubes with a pasture pipatte.

• 100% cotton cloth was taken to test the dye affectivity.

• 48 samples were injected to 48 piece of cloth.

• 18 cloth pieces g shows the color.

• Very low conc. used

Most effective color showing cloth piece (18)

4, 5 and 26, 27 test tube sample showed max colour effectiveness

Washing in fresh water with rubbing for 5 min

Washed with soap (wheel) and rubbed for 3 min

Colour not changed remarkeably

4,5 and 26, 27 dipped in washing powder (Wheel power white shining) for 2 hrs

After 15 min air drying

Colour test remarks

• Sample 4 not changed in a remarkable fashion.

• But 26, 27, 28 changed, almost washed away (light color prevailed)

• More conc. Color should be injected
