basic promotion tips

• Vanity URL– Once you have more than 25 fans on your page, set up your

business fan page vanity URL. – Go to http:facebook.com/username/ and click on the link

"Set a username for your Pages.“ Use your website address/company name

• Add Vanity URL to business card & email signature

Be certain to allow access. This will allow anything you post on your FAN PAGE only to post to your twitter account. Facebook allows you to post up to 420 characters. Twitter will create a link back to Facebook so readers can view the rest of the post. SO ADD LINKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Pictures, links and events

• When posting pictures, your fan page will post the first 3 and then provide a link to view all.

• Links offer a great opp to add more information to your posts and give readers somewhere to go for more.

• Events have endless possibilities. You can add as much text as you like, invite people, update people, share, link, etc...
