When I went to play with my cousin, we played soccer.

He told me to be goalie. Then he kicked the ball right to my legs. I saw the ball getting closer and closer and closer.

I thought I was going to get hit. I tried to move because I was scared, but it

happened. The ball hit me in my ankle.

It felt like when you get your finger on fire. It was not fun! I fell down because my leg couldn’t handle walking. I was crying when it hurt.

My cousin called the ambulance. The ambulance came for me, and they took me to the hospital.

They ran into the hospital, and they took me to a room.

My leg hurt when they put me in the bed.

They brought a cast, and they put it on me. It was green and red and gray and white.

My cousin and my uncle were crying. My uncle called my mom and dad. They came to the hospital, and they started crying, and I was crying too.

And then they all were happy when the doctor said I was fine, but I needed to use a cast for thirty days.

My cousin and my uncle held me by my arms and helped me go to the car.

I went home and watched TV for thirty days.

I had to miss school for thirty days. When I went back to school, I had a lot of work to do. That was hard!
