How to Fix a Clogged Shower Head

White Vinegar. Hot Water. A Bag. A Toothbrush. An Elastic Band.

Preparation: 10 Minutes.

Standard Clean: 4 Hours.

Deep Clean: 24 Hours.

Time Taken

1. Carefully unscrew the Shower Head from the hose (skip this step if it’s fixed to the wall).

2. Use a toothbrush & gently wipe away any sediment.

3. Create a solution of 1 part vinegar to 8 parts hot water.

4. Pour the solution into a bag.

5. Submerge the Shower Head into the mixture, ensuring the head is completely covered.

6. Place an elastic band around the bag to make sure it is sealed tight.

7. For a standard clean leave for 4 hours, for a deep clean leave for 24 hours.

8. Finally, wipe the Shower Head with the toothbrush to ensure all deposits are gone.
