GOD our leader

Just to be tender, just to be true,

Just to be glad the whole day through,

Just to be merciful, just to be mild,

Just to be trustful as a child:

Just to be gentle and kind and sweet,

Just to be helpful with willing feet...

Just to let love be our daily key,

That is God’s will for you and me.

God’s credentials as a leader

• He is all-powerful• He is all-knowing• He is loving, merciful, compassionate, just• He is unchanging and ever-faithful• He knows me better than I do• He wants good for me and mine

A loving fatherPrayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your role in my life: for your leadership, faithfulness, love, mercy, compassion and understanding. Help me each day to walk humbly with you, to not lose sight of you amongst the busy distractions of life. Thank you when I do, that you receive me back again with love and joy. Amen.
