Spring 2012

In May 2012, Impact Christian Fellowship of USF-Tampa returned for the 6th year to serve alongside Mioche Rock and Friends of Christ Ministry in Pignon, Haiti.

Over those years, the team has witnessed and participated in the progress of the whole town of Pignon.

Through teaching and storytelling, they have helped the children of the church and community grow.

The team has worked alongside professional workers and church leaders to build an addition to the church for the children’s room.

Team helped to complete the final stages of the children’s room for these eager kids to learn about Christ.

The team returned to the village of Bouyaha where the church …

... operates a Christian school for fellowship and ministry with over 250 students.

Joining with several area church leaders, the team ministered to some of the poorest families in the community through prayer and food gifts from the church.

It is the relationships with Mioche and his family and the children and young leaders of the church that keep the team coming back year after year.

Team member Anessy Cabancould only communicate with tears when asked why she returned for the 5th year. Thatwas enough for everyone to understand.
