DIOCESAN AP STRUCTURE
Features of the Existing Diocesan AP Structure.
• Typical of an Ecclesiastical Movement• Has a specific task of praying for the
mission of the universal Church
• Comprises groups of older, very traditional people who are focused on devotional practices
• Carry out apostolic services (like visiting the sick) in the parishes
• Usually not attractive to today’s new generation with exception to some African countries.
• Likely hood to be looked upon like every other movement seeming to a rivalry.

• Can be driven by the Itinerant Missions
Local Church Service Model
• specialized service for children and youth
• Large gatherings, camp outs, and common celebrations are part of the formative path.
• EYM shares its historical and spiritual roots with the AP.
EYM
Strong Linkages of the Models
Digital Model• knows no borders,
we will be able to reach people in every country of the world, including those where the AP is not present today.
• The AP already has a significant presence in the “digital continent”: we are not starting from scratch
• Proposing mutual collaboration in coordinated programs
Direct EcclesiasticalService Model• Awaken or revive in Christians a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• provide appropriate materials and training programs for the existing AP groups
• Brings about spiritual renewal of members of groups already in existence in parishes, institutions, or movements.
Youth Association
Model• offers Children a training program inspired by the Eucharist and in friendship with Jesus.
• suitable for providing continuity to the education of children from their first communion on.
• Its training itinerary collects and adapts the spiritual program of the AP for youth.
• EYM offers to its members, especially the older ones the
• The training programs and what was proposed in the digital action model of the AP can be part of the what the EYM offers to its members, especially the older ones.
• In the EYM , young people learn the spiritual habits that, once mature, they can continue to live in the AP for the rest of their lives.

The Call to re-create the AP
• “Each generation must re-create its faith, its vocation, and its mission…” (General Director, Father Adolfo Nicolas )
• Consequently, we must look further and more deeply into the AP by not just adapting or renewing but re-create it.
• Be free and go beyond what we are familiar with, take the cultural changes more seriously and speak the new languages of today.
(What are the new languages of today? What cultural changes are perculiar to our country and local church/dioceses)
CONCLUSION
• The re-creation begins in each one of us with an attitude of inner freedom, love of neighbour, a readiness to “let oneself be re-created,” and be surprised by the Spirit.
• What are the pre-requisites to recreating?– Knowledge of object to be recreatedYou cant recreate what you don’t have an idea about.
• Will there be hurdles / challenges in the process of recreating?
– Yes.
• What is needed to sumount the challenges?– Faith, Strength & Perseverance (through extra prayers, extra adoration,
extra acts of reparation and extra acts of charity) in the process of the recreation.
• Where does the strength and perseverance come from?- The author and finisher of our faith- God our Father through his son, our
Saviour, Jesus Christ in unity with the Holy Spirit .(Heb 12:2)What is the easiest way to get this? With faith, live out the daily offering to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
AOP: The Recreation?
What is the AOP/AP?It is a ‘League’ with devotion that offers prayers of reparation, Eucharistic Adoration and consecration. (AOP Prayer book).
The Apostleship of Prayer (AP) formation program is a way of the heart that leads the Christian to identify with the Heart of Jesus and to collaborate with him in the mission of the Church by making God’s compassion present in the world. It is a mystical path called to give fruits of justice and service
