His first class career spanned over 25 years and managed to play 6 test matches as well. He later coached future internationals like Vic Marks etc.

George Simpson-Hayward played 5 tests for England at the start of the 20th century. His bowling style has been described as unusual right arm off break. He seldom flighted the ball and bowled with a lower trajectory, faster speed but still managed to get sufficient turn. He is considered to be the last serious exponent of this unusual form of bowling. What is unusual about it?
