Letter Writing – Group Service Project

Letter writing campaign to soldiers overseas. Gather up your friends, relatives, and other

community members to write letters to service men and women overseas.

Starting in January 2010 – February 2010 Send them to us here at Keystone by March

1st so that we can get them sent out! 920 Central Road

Bloomsburg, PA 17815

What should the letter include?

Make the letter chatty Introduce yourself Talk about things you enjoy doing “Thinking of You” Thanking them for their service

It can be a letter or a card. They do not need to be in envelopes.

Please, no glitter – it causes a mess in it’s travels!

What should our goal be?

We will keep track of how many letters we have collected on our website – so keep a close eye!

How many letters should we aim for?

Since we are starting this in January, we will have sample letters for you to use at the next

meeting (if you need some help).
