Data Driven Integrations for HubSpot 3

DATA VS EVENT DRIVENWhat’s the Difference?

Why Choose One or the Other?

Data Driven

• Keeps data in sync across systems

• Allows data management from single OR multiple sources

• Allows users to leverage all data in one system in another system

• Data updates in either system trigger the synchronization

• May require additional time to synchronize very large data sets

• Bad data begets bad data

Event Driven

• Relies on triggering event in system A (form submission, field update, etc)

• Relies on specific action in system B (add user to webinar)

• Requires many events to do full data replication

• Can be very fast since not all data in being transferred

HOW BEDROCK WORKSHow We Keep HubSpot and Other Systems in Sync

Synchronization Timeline

① Bedrock asks HubSpot for all changed records

② Bedrock asks system B for all changed records

③ Bedrock de-duplicates and merges all data

④ Bedrock determines what records require updates in HubSpot or system B

⑤ Bedrock sends updates to HubSpot

⑥ Bedrock sends updates to system B

⑦ Repeat process about every five minutes, 24-7-365
