What is CRT ? The cathode ray tube (CRT) is a vacuum tube containing an electron gun (a source of electrons) and a fluorescent  screen.

The CRT uses an evacuated glass envelope which is large, deep, heavy, and relatively fragile.

In physics and chemistry , plasma is a state of matter similar to gas  in which a certain portion of the particles are ionized.

A plasma display panel (PDP)

is a type of flat panel display common to large TV displays 30 inches (76 cm) or larger. They are called "plasma" displays because the technology utilizes small cells containing electrically charged ionized gases.

LED TV’s are the new kids on the horizon of display screens

The highly advanced backlighting feature of the LED TV has made it ahead of the LCD TV model.

When it comes to power consumption, LCD are still best. The LCD TVs use about half

the power than LED.

LED HD TVs are a new breed but very expensive. In future LED TVs will be as thin as a credit card.

The viewing angle is the angle at which the screen can be watched without any loss of color or contrast. LED provide better contrast and wider viewing angles.

Picture Quality LED televisions provide more accurate color

along with a wider range of colors.

LEDs cost up to 20 percent more than similarly sized LCDs,. However, LCDs offer energy savings

and a longer screen lifespan.
