ODA in a nutshell• Driven by a vision of a new service model in healthcare-

and social services.• Develops a national e-service that supports self-care and

self-service as well as improves results, quality, availability and productivity.

• The e-service enables the change, its a means, not an end. • In addition to the technical development a strong emphasis

on changing the operational processes.• Aims at a national standard and integrates into other

national services (such as national PHR, national architecture for digital services etc).

• A joint project of fourteen organisations that takes into account the national (and international) diffusion in every stage of the project.

Where are we now?• Process changes are being made in pilot teams

– 20 processes are supported with coaching– PDCA – cycles!

• Decision support and eveidence-based checks etc is under construction by Duodecim Medical Publications Ltd

• Software and app: software development teams are competing by coding a part of MVP

• Competitive tendering of capacity services is starting soon
