Activating the Remote

• Open battery compartment of remote

• Remove protective strip• Close battery compartment

Connecting the Camera

Plug power cord here

VGA cord to back of LCD

USB to PC VGA In to DVI Adaptor (Notebooks only)

Installing Software

• Connect camera and PC with USB cable (Laptop needs to use VGA & Adaptor)

• Insert CD into Computer’s CD-ROM• “Auto Run” will be shown

automatically• Follow instructions on Install Wizard

Document Camera Note

The document camera can be used without a computer by connecting directly to the LCD projector. You will still be able to temporarily capture images to the camera, but you will not be able to archive. All images will be lost when you turn off the camera.

Getting Started• Turn camera on using remote or control pad

on the camera. (LED indicates blue when on, red when off.)

• Press Auto Adjust to obtain optimum image.• Focus using remote or buttons on

the camera head.

• Adjust brightness if needed.

Software Note

The software will operate with the camera connected to a PC.

Stored images may be viewed on the monitor while live images are viewed on the projector, only if connected with VGA or DVI output connected.

SEE II Software

If you are using a computer, open the SEE II software to display images on your monitor as you also display on the LCD. This will enable you to save images to your PC.

Click on Real Time to begin processing images.

Capturing Images

Your camera will store 48 frames in memory.

Press Capture on remote or keypad and watch for the “processing” symbol in the top left corner of the screen to indicate that the image is being saved.

Playback Images

• Press Play to show thumbnail of captured images.

• Press to select thumbnail• Press Enter to display full image• Use to view next image• Press Play to return to thumbnails• Press Menu to Exit & return to live

Deleting Captured Imageswith Remote

• Press Play to display thumbnails• Use to select image• Press Del to delete• Press Menu to exit

Deleting Captured Images with Keypad

• Press Play to show thumbnails• Use to select image• Press Enter to display full screen• Press Menu to view On Screen Control

Auto Erase

With Auto Erase turned on, all images will be erased when camera is turned off.

Picture Beside Picture

• This function is used to show a live image and captured image on a split screen.

• To use this function, select PBP

Saving Images as a Project

• Software allows annotation, capture and storage in project form. The project can be converted (imported) to a set of Powerpoint slides.

Annotation

To Annotate, select Paint on the software menu bar.

Choose the color and type of annotation. The mouse can then be used to draw or write.

Annotation can be done on live as well as captured images.Images can be live or captured.

This image can be frozen, captured as a JPG or enlarged to full screen.

If using a live image, functions such as “flip” can be utilized. If using captured images, they can only be changed by annotation.

Trouble Shooting

Problem 1 – No picture from document Camera

1. Make sure power is on.2. Wait a few seconds and press

source button3. Switch to another source and then

back4. Check to be sure document is

under camera head.

Problem 2 – Cannot focus1. Zoom in as far as possible on the

document or object and then zoom out to desired distance.

1. Adjust BRT +/- button on the remote control
