General Guidelines

• Use section lines to indicate “cut” material• Show all edges, not just “cut” material• No hidden lines except as needed for feature• Use object lines, not hidden lines, to outline

“cut” material• Section lines same direction on each part• Cutting plane line in adjacent view• Section lines normally at 45o
