Surfing the Technological Tsunami A guide for 21st Century Educators

Preview:

DESCRIPTION

Many teachers need guidance about the overwhelming and rapid technological developments that are surrounding us at present. This is what that I presented at an International Teachers' Conference in Atlanta and then a Digital Schoolhouse Conference in Forsyth County, Georgia. It's still a work in progress and aims to point out interesting trends and developments for educators. The first few slides are from a very well-known presentation called "Did you know" by Karl Fisch. Most of the teachers I presented to at the time (early 2008), had not seen or heard of Karl's famous presentation.
