Collaborative image sharing

• Cultural institutions are harvesting social image tools such as Flickr, to enrich their own online image collections and make them publically available through a common portal.

– Eg: Picture Australia

• these products allow you to:– keep track of all of your information resources

(save data from library catalogues, journal databases, the web etc)

– make notes about them– create bibliographies in many referencing styles– share your resources with other people
