WhatsApp Update With TechugoWe all know you can find out easily on WhatsApp if your messages have been read.

The credit goes to the tiny tick marks in the corner of the speech bubble.

But there are many hidden features in WhatsApp, which is not known to many of us

Let’s find out the hidden features with Techugo…

Read Without TellingYou can read a message without the sender knowing.

Before you open the specific message, put your phone into airplane mode.

Read the message while airplane mode is still activated then come of the message before you turn it off.

Doing this ensures that the blue ticks don’t appear so the sender won’t know that you’ve read their mes-sage.

Stop The Automatic Saving

You can stop the incoming photos from automatically saving.

Open WhatsApp’s Settings screen, go to Chats settings and you’ll be able to switch off ‘Save Incoming Data’ with the slider.

Manage Your Data UsageYou can easily find out how much data is being used.

Go to the settings screen and go to Data Usage then Network Usage.

The app will tell you how many messages you’ve sent and received, and well as how much data.

If you go back one screen, you can turn on Low Data Usage which limits the amount of data used during any WhatsApp calls.

Mute Group NotiicationsYou can mute down the group notifications without having to leave the group and causing offence.

You can even mute the notifications for good, or choose a specified time period if you just need a short break.

On iOS, simply tap on the subject at the top of the screen to open the Group Info screen and from there simply tap Mute.

On Android, just tap Menu, then Mute within the relevant chat.

Format Your Message

You can format your messages on WhatsApp with bold, italics and strikethrough effects .

For bold, simply add as asterisks to either side of the word you want to highlight (e.g. *bold*), for italics use underscores (_italic_) and for strikethrough use tildes (~strikethrough~).

A Beating Heart

You can send a giant heart on WhatsApp.

You send the standard red heart emoji it will transform into a larger, beating heart.

A Bcc Feature For WhatsAppYou can send messages to multiple people without them knowing

Use the handy Broadcast Lists features found in the top left of the Chats screen.

This will send the same message to the contacts you choose, without them knowing that it’s been sent to other people, a bit like a bcc on email.
