Mitigating environmental impact: Minimize outside garbage and remove

all that is brought in. Be prepared to filter their own water. Limit showers and don’t expect hot

water. Accommodations should be simple and

appropriate to the area. Bring warm sleeping bags so extra

wood is not burned. Be prepared to eat local foods.
