Partnership

The training manual for workers in the tourism sector published by the project may be found at the following address:http://safehost.filcams.it/

and is currently available in the following languages: http://www.safehostfilcams.org/?p=516 http://www.safehostfilcams.org/?p=516&lang=en http://www.safehostfilcams.org/?p=516&lang=es http://www.safehostfilcams.org/?p=516&lang=it http://www.safehostfilcams.org/?p=516&lang=hu

Second phase objectives

Widen scope of involved sectors, for example transports, and hence the number of workers that will be able to make use of the toolbox

Increase the number of languages in the course for sector workers: in addition to the current ones: English, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, we would add French, German, Portuguese and a Nordic language;

Partnerships during

second phase

Phase 2 of the project, hoping it will receive funding from the European Commission will be long. To connect the two projects and assure continuity, Filcams has prepared a campaign for the promotion of a multi-language course for tourism workers, in particular for those employed in riskier destinations.

It should be highlighted in particular that we hope Portuguese will be among the languages, considering the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games: 5 – 21 August 2016. Great sports events are one of the riskiest situations in terms of sexual exploitation of children.

The objective of the “campaign” is to raise awareness among workers about this occurence and to give them specific tools for training.

The chosen message is a symbol in the sector: the reception bell in hotels, that may also represent a sign of “alarm”.

The tools are mainly digital, internet sites reachable through a QR code, but also paper: leaflets-posters

What we are asking IUF/UITA:

• to support the campaign making the use of the logo available • to support and help the campaign • to disseminate it among affiliates

What we are asking to IUF-UITA tourism sector affiliates:

• to support and help the campaign disseminating material among members and workers.
