Shibazakura , Japan • At the end of each spring, Hitsujiyama park in
Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture (Japan) ,the flower carpets become colorful.
• The flower carpets get many colors, but mostly white, pink and purple. The Japanese call it Shibazakura flowers, in English it is Pholox.
• Chichibu is known as an attractive tourist destination, especially in late April and early May when the flower carpet blossoms on the Shibazakura hillside.
• To immerse yourself in paradise Shibazakura flower , you need 300 yen to buy the entrance ticket. Hitsujiyama Park only 90 minutes from the capital Tokyo subway and 30 minutes walk from the station Yokoze.
