Travel Tips to Tahiti

Tahiti has been on our dream board for years,

and since we were due for a much deserved vacation, off we went on a trip of a lifetime!

we flew from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Papeete, Tahiti,

and hopped aboard an amazing cruise ship,

and that was the beginning of our little adventure that complied our...

TOP TEN Travel Tips

Number One

Forget about checking into a hotel on each island lugging your bags all around.

Travel in luxury on this cruise ship

The Paul Gauguin!

It has luxurious newly renovated rooms and suites.

A sun deck to get your tan on!

Most importantly, all inclusive food and drinks!

SEE!

There was even live cooking demonstrations!

Number TWO

Go and eat at the famous Bloody Marys.

A few famous people have eaten here,

but we forgot to exchange for francs,

and commenced eating our lunch.

Fortunately, most places take credit cards!

Number THREE

Each island has different treasures to discover.

Papeete has an incredible market in town,

Moorea has nice resorts to relax at,

Raiatea has a few historic landmarks,

Tahaa has beautiful reef gardens,

and Bora Bora has amazing diving spots.

Number FOUR

Traveling alone is not much fun.

We met Melanie and Scott from Las Vegas,

and got to know Alan and Alice from Hawaii!

If not, who else is going to take pictures of you?

Number FIVE

Take a Hike (so we’ve heard)

Beautiful flowing waterfalls and lush rain forests.

Peaceful streams and rough jagged mountain tops.

Scenic views of the entire island and more waterfalls.

However, we didn’t go on any. (It was raining that day)

Number SIX

Jet Ski around Bora Bora is a must!

It is unlike any place on earth!

You jet ski by all the bungalows,

and makes for one invigorating experience!

Number SEVEN

Go for a snorkel by the reef gardens.

The Visibility underwater is amazing!

Or you can just jump in and get wet!

Number EIGHT

Every Friday night in Papeete, is a large local food truck gathering.

Discover delicious local foods there you can share.

and is a nice vibe where families and friends sit and eat together.

Number NINE

Soak it all in.

Enjoy your surroundings.

Take some time to reflect, be present, think of the future,

or you can take a paddle board and go.

Number TEN

Clear your mind,

and finish that book you have been writing.

Time moves very slow when there is nowhere to go.

BONUS TIP

The Papeete airport is small,

and it can get really crowded at times.

The secret is go upstairs to the VIP lounge area.

No one knows about it and is completely empty.

We hope your next vacation is great!
