This book cover contains a sans

serif font, although the text on this

cover doesn’t exactly stand out, it is

the size of the text and background

colour that makes the cover

noticeable.

This book cover contains a serif font. This font

stands out because it looks more formal and

more visually attractive to look at. The use of

serif gives the book’s cover more of an edge,

rather than it just be a plain, simple text like

sans serif.

This book cover contains a script font.

Script makes the text more fancy, and

makes it more eye catching. Although the

book covers background colour isn’t

exactly a very noticeable colour, the font is

able to grab people’s attention instead.

This book cover uses decorative

text. This decorative font uses

negative spacing, this makes the

font stand out because the shapes

and letter sizes/shapes make the

cover noticeable.

10 interesting book coversThis book cover is interesting because it’s ironic. The book is about fonts, so to display this they’ve used different font styles to make up the text on the front cover.

This book cover is interesting

because the text is made out of

animals and a city like image, which

represents the title of the book “Zoo

City”.

This book cover title reads “Change the way you

see everything” This is ironic because you have

to read the title differently to understand what it

says. This type of irony should attract more

audience.

This book cover is quite artistic, as it

uses the letter “Z” to display an image off

a woman.

10 interesting book coversThis book cover is very busy, it’s also

quite confusing because the text

overlaps. The title is found on the

book twice so you know what you are

reading.

This book cover is also ironic because the title matches the image and text alignment. The woman is falling, and the text is aligned to make it look like it is also falling.

This book covers text is shaped

into a grenade shape, which

supports the title of the book.

The text for this book is

shaped into a hand, this may

be to support the idea of the

book, for example the story

behind it.

10 Interesting book coversThis book cover is interesting because it uses

the differences of both light and dark to give the

book title a more powerful meaning as the

background colours (black and white)

compliment this idea.

This book cover is interesting

because the gun forms the

shape of a country, this may be

done to represent the violence or

democracy in the specific

country, will will possibly be

explained in the book itself.
