Summarise your study of the work of others - portrait painting

Include A copy of the illustrated study of your chosen painting – artist and subject.

Summarise •The analysis of how has it been painted, does the composition add to the meaning•When was the work painted – how do you know? Are there clues in the approach used to suggest this – e.g. the setting, clothing, props?•What do you think the artist is saying about the subject? How is this achieved?•What culture was the piece produced in? What stylistic period or movement is the work connected to?
