Mandala Certificate Program includes intensive seminars, case studies, an independent study project with mentorship, and review of applications of mandala theory in helping relationships, spiritual vocations, educational and personal growth settings. Lectures survey the history, anthropology, psychology, mythology, and meaning of color and form of mandalas. The Mandala Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all three parts of this training. Individuals interested in deepening their understanding of the circle as a universal symbol of process, integration and wholeness will find this program of interest.

Mandalas as a Part of Art Therapy

•How to use a mandala…•There are many uses for a mandala.•The design of the mandala is supposed to be visually appealing, absorbing the mind in such a way that irritating thoughts are unable to get through and a spiritual essence surrounds the individual observing the mandala. •This allows the individual to achieve a higher consciousness or awareness, almost as though being hypnotized.   •The busy mind is then able to take a break while the creative mind is allowed to run free.

•Having said that, the mandala is primarily used as a form of meditation to gain knowledge from within.
