Front Cover: Digipak - Ideas

I have used Photoshop to put together my album cover, I wanted to get use to using Photoshop to learn and change to what I have done now. Here I used a template of a spooky tree that they had on Photoshop – I have also added in the artist name to add to the effect to match the name.

My main focus for my album cover was the brand identity of natural summery, spooky and different feel to the album that I want to create.

I wanted to make the text stand out as I wanted to have a sky back ground, and painted in the black so the text stands out more and is eye catching.

For my final album cover, I have decided to use a brighter outfit as my artist will stand out more. And to change the opaqueness of the image as the artist covers the horizon

Here is a screen shot of the image I have used for my background, in my final version I will have taken my own photos of a field as they will be my own image. To make it less brighter I used the tool to fade it in the so it is less bright.

Here I cut a bit from the field to cover the man in the image.

Here is a screen shot of the text I used for my album name, I wanted it to be different as I wanted it to stand out more from the cover, I have also added in bees to match my music video, and I wanted to keep the theme of nature and as it ‘nature’ was her only friend.

Back Cover Digipak: Design

For the back cover I wanted to keep with the theme so I chose to use an image of grass for this I will use the tool to fade it so it isn't so bright. Here I will use my own image for my final design.

I wanted to keep the text consistent through the colour so I again used Action Jackson to present my track list, which does look effective and different to cd cover.

Here I have added in more track names and have painted in white to make the tracks stand out on the green background and is in keeping with the cd cover.

Here I have again added the bees to the back cover to keep with the theme as if they are flying away from the artist. This was simple to do was just to copy the images I had edited on the front cover.

On my final changes I also added a doctor martin this is to show her style and because they are seen in the music video in mostly every scene

Lastly I have added additional information such as website of the artist, Facebook and twitter logos and copy right information. In the right had corner I have also added a barcode.
