Basketball jerseys and shorts are predominant costume choices in big basketball movies. Specific jersey types may include the use of the woven polyester which we would want for levels of comfort for the actors, and preferably the basketball team name printed on it. This may arouse budget expenses, however we may consider using our alternatives to avoid this (e.g. school jerseys)

Costume choices may also include comfortable clothing. In this example of ‘Rebound’, the actor is wearing a sweatshirt with a standard cotton top.This may not be much of a problem in terms of acquiring these costumes because a majority of people have comfortable clothes as such, assumingly

Shoes/Trainers specifically for basketball include ankle support, and the bottom of the heels are very thick for to support the consistent jumping which comes in playing basketball. Particular trainers like this are predominant costume choices in big basketball movies, for example in ‘The White Shadow’.This may also bring budget expenses, however we may consider using normal trainers as we all have a pair, assumingly.

From my research, I can determine that our main hurdle is the budget. We can use the alternative of the school jerseys of the boys team, however other problems arise, for example; size, use, if they’re clean, specific colors, etc. We have decided to possibly buy shorts of the same color, and use the school jerseys – as a back up. We will be aiming to use new jerseys, but this will not be for definite, so we will be holding the school jerseys at hand.
