DIFFERENT TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY

LANDSCAPE•LANDSCAPE IS ONE THE MOST POPULAR TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY WITH IT ALLOWING TO FIT A LOT INTO THE IMAGE. THIS IS ALSO A •POPULAR TYPE AS IT CAN BE VERY MUCH ANYTHING FROM VIEWS FROM A TOP OF A HILL TO A FOOTBALL STADIUM LIKE MY EXAMPLE SHOWN. A GOOD LANDSCAPE PICTURE SHOULD MAKE A CONNECTION WITH THE VIEWER, AND TELL YOU A STORY. A GOOD LANDSCAPE PICTURE WILL HAVE YOU FINDING INTERESTING DETAILS IN THE PHOTO FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER YOU FIRST SEE IT.THE SKILL IS TO ENTERTAIN THE VIEWER WITHIN THE SINGULAR MOMENT OF THE PHOTO. CAPTURING THE INSTANT IN TIME, AND PRESERVING IT FOREVER, CAN MAKE IT INTO SOMETHING AMAZING.IT CAN REMIND YOU OF A CERTAIN LOCATION, A CERTAIN POINT IN TIME, OR A PERIOD OF YOUR LIFE.

WHO MADE LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY SO POPULAR ?    

Ansel Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was an American photographer in which he took some of the best landscape photos in the world only in black and white. Adams' most popular photos came from his time in Yosemite Valley and the west coast of America. Adams came up with the Zone System Technique  The Zone System provides photographers with a systematic method of precisely defining the relationship between the way they visualize the photographic subject and the final results. When looking at a famous quote from Adams, he once said "You don't take a photograph, you make it." This can represent the creative mind of Adams when it came to taking photos In that the person behind the camera is making the image by getting into the right spot for example and thinking of how to get the best image possible. Another way of seeing it as that the photo is not being taken, its being created.

photograph, or engraving of a person, especially one depicting only the face or

head and shoulders:

What portrait photographers or portraiture photographers aim is to focus on the person’s face. They aim to give emphasis on the face of the person because this will also be the focus or the emphasis of the photograph. This does not mean, however, that the person’s body or

even the background will no longer be included. Under portrait photography, these

can still be included in the photo by the portrait photographer but again, the focus or the emphasis should be on the person’s face,

facial expression and even distinct facial features.

When trying to take a good portrait photo, a studio is normally the best way to deliver and that’s what I did with these photos, with a white backdrop and

lighting, it was able to produce the best type of portrait. The middle image is myself than exploring with photoshop with the images I took in the studio.

NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY REFERS TO A WIDE RANGE OF PHOTOGRAPHY TAKEN OUTDOORS AND DEVOTED TO DISPLAYING NATURAL ELEMENTS SUCH AS LANDSCAPES, WILDLIFE, PLANTS, AND CLOSE-UPS OF NATURAL SCENES AND TEXTURES.PATIENCE IS IMPORTANT IN NATURAL PHOTOGRAPHY  BECAUSE YOU ARE LIKELY NOT IN CONTROL OF THE SCENE. YOU HAVE A SAY IN WHERE YOU STAND AND POINT YOUR CAMERA, BUT OFTEN THE SCENE IS UNFOLDING AT ITS OWN PACE, WHICH IS DIFFERENT THAN YOURS. THIS DIFFERENCE IS WHAT CAUSES IMPATIENCE IN MOST OF US; WANTING SOMETHING TO BE WHERE WE WANT IT, BUT IT’S NOT, YET

Nature photography takes a lot of time to get the final

outcome with the person not being able to actually make the image, you have to wait for the right moment. And

that’s what happened with my photos shown. From raindrops

on a window to the sun rising... they can only be

taken at the perfect time.
